I am Tomasz (Tom) Dereszynski, first of all Christian, secondly husband and father.
PEOPLE - Some might have interacted with me in a professional capacity where I would help businesses create highly functioning teams (mostly software/ SRE / DevOps Engineers). But please note that I do not believe in processes - I use them to mature business and practices but do not believe in them. I do believe in people - they are the key to it all. I respect people and their beliefs and values.
NUMBERS - There are numbers which are important to the business but not more important then People. Its People whom will help make those numbers go in the direction business needs them to go.
CUSTOMERS - Most businesses (?!) would depend on customers. They come first - so most claim - there are other expressions about businesses and customer but do we really believe in them? I do, at some point idea is important (for the product or service) but sooner or later customer MUST be put first otherwise that idea will be implemented by others and ... well.
WHY PEOPLE? - Its simple, I surround myself with people who are more clever then I am. We are the team. That way we can break down any issue / problem / challenge and fix it. So far that way is working well.
AUTISM - Let's make it clear - I am on the spectrum. It allows me to see things but also causes me NOT to see certain things - but I try. In reality it gave me troubleshooting skills which are hard to quantify.
